A few hours later we arrived at the correct base which as I said I think was LSA Anaconda. When we had redeployed with this adopted unit they had told us that they had need of us and had a mission for us upon arrival at out new base. This turned out to be somewhat less than the full truth of the matter as we would find out the next day. The next morning during the brief the units new mission and their requirements were laid out and in no part were we included in them. So here we were in Baghdad as a satellite communications team and we had no mission. For about three days this tuned out to be a good thing, we stayed out of site, and by enlarge stayed out of mind. By the forth day though they had managed to find another unit in Baghdad that thought they may want a satellite communications team to work with them, and so my team was given orders to reattach to yet another unit. We were then taken to another base where we were picked up by another unit that would take us to the base where we were going to set up to support the next unit we were being attached to.
