27 Sep 04 Well this is my first attempt at night photography, and also the first time I have used my film scanner without having prints first. So I don't know really how well I did, but with a little help from some photo editing software I can get some of them to look alright. I would prefer to be able to get them to look good without the need for editing though. Now you may notice that in some pictures the sky is purple, that is not digital editing that's the way they actually came out, I don't really change the colors in these pictures I just clean a lot of noise out. I started taking pictures about 2:00AM and took pictures until about 5:00AM when it started raining, just now I'm thinking that its the slow progression of the clouds thickening that caused the sky to turn a deeper and deeper purple.

Ok this one isn't quite the same as the rest of the night pictures but it goes with the rest of the experiments.
