Tonight I mostly just wanted to get out and ride around a bit on my bike. I managed to succeed in that and get a few decent pictures as well. I got out tonight around midnight and fiddled around for about 5 hours before heading home. I probably spent an hour taking 8 pictures of the silhouetted tree. You might think for all that I would have more pictures it posted on this page, but well some of them stunk but most of them just wouldn’t scan they way they I wanted them to look or they way they look in a rear projection viewer so I didn’t bother. The water tower and flags turned out rather well I thought, all except for that stray piece of lint on the film. If I try photographing flags again at night I will have to try using a flash to freeze them. I like the blurred Images which gives it a bit of motion, but at the same time you cant really make out the flags for what they are or whose flags they are. The yellowed, canopy picture is of an outdoor chapel that sits right on the beach with a small boardwalk that goes out onto the beach and into the lagoon. During low tides there is nothing but sand beneath the boardwalk and during high tide you are surrounded nicely by lapping waives.
