A couple of us at work had never been to the plantation including me, I had ridden through it on my bike during the Tip to Tip Bike Ride but hadn't had the opportunity to stop and take pictures. The Plantation is only open on weekends and as all of us had managed to get a Sunday off it seemed like the thing to do. It had rained pretty much the entire day before, and all night so the island was pretty soggy. It remained heavily clouded for the rest of the day that we were there, but it fortunately spared us the rain until we were already on our way back to town.
